Nicole Iatarola, Media Specialist

IatarolaI am so pleased to have the opportunity to facilitate the media department at George Jenkins High School! My goal is to create an environment that is welcoming and comfortable for all students and staff at GJHS, whether it be to conduct research, complete classwork, print papers, relax and read with friends, or challenge a friend to a game of chess. I strive to have information and materials readily available and accessible to all and encourage students to share their knowledge, questions, and ideas. I am also passionate about helping students find books that match their personality, interests, and goals in order to foster a lifelong love of reading and exploration. It is also extremely important to me that our library houses a collection that is reflective of the student body at GJHS, so I highly encourage students to share favorite authors and recommendations for additions to our library! I look forward to welcoming you to our media center, which is truly “The Heart of Knowledge.”
